Bridge piercing is performed between the eyes; but does this piercing belong in the category of eyebrow or nose piercings? The issue is debatable, so we’ve decided to put it in both categories. Strictly speaking, though, the bridge is a surface piercing. Whatever the case may be, a bridge piercing is very attractive and is seldom worn.

Unfortunately, the bridge piercing tends to grow out, but it may take years to do so.

If you decide to get a bridge, you should be aware of the fact that it might not last, which is of course no reason not to get one!

Healing and care:

A bridge piercing can take between 3 and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.

Disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or chlorine should be avoided.

Vertikal-Bridge

A vertical bridge is a piercing done between the eyebrows; alternatively it can be executed vertically, that is, from high to low.

In this case the piercing is not done directly in the center, but slightly higher.

The results speak for themselves. A vertical bridge can also be seen as a kind of surface piercing.
