Lip frenulum piercings can be adorned with rhinestones or rings; initially, a ball closure ring is suitable, with a thickness of 1.6mm and if possible a small inner diameter. However, the ring should not be thinner than 1.2mm, or else it runs the risk of growing out during the healing process. There are captive bead rings with a flat back designed for this piercing, to avoid possible damage to the teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nose tip piercing can take between 14 and 21 days to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other mucous membrane piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then with a ProntoLind mouthwash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself\u2014the hands should be kept away from the mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
