In recent years, the nape piercing has grown in popularity, with men and with women. It is a striking form of piercing and can be worn both horizontally or vertically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nape piercing takes around 4-6 weeks to heal, depending on whether one has gotten a surface piercing or a dermal anchor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, you must consider the fact that this area of the body is in constant movement, which can adversely affect the piercing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nape piercing can take between 1 and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you can do a great deal to prevent the onset of proud flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
