Depending on the area of the body, we will discuss the best options with you. Naturally we only use sterile titanium or PTFE jewelry for our first application.

Surface Piercing:
Surface piercing is very much in vogue at the moment. Be it on the hips, the neck, or the face—everyone seems to have one or want one done.

We have a great deal of experience and know-how when it comes to surface piercing, and can be relied on for a professional job. However, customers should know that eventually surface piercings will grow out of the skin and must be removed.

Single-Point Surface Piercing:
The current trend in jewelry is known as an “implant”. These are not actual implants (e.g. a breast implants), but single-point surface piercing, meaning that there is only one point of access. These are also called “dermal anchors”.

This type of piercing allows you to wear a variety of different jewels on almost any part of your body. We use the most current techniques in this area, with expert knowledge and the necessary equipment to back it up, all of which allows us to perform the single-point procedures with the utmost confidence.

These surface piercings will eventually grow out of (be rejected by) your skin and must therefore be removed by a professional.

Stretching:
We don’t only pierce but stretch earlobes, private areas, etc.
If you wish to stretch your own earlobe, you will spare yourself considerable time and frustration by having the earlobe pierced by 2.0mm.
For normal earlobe piercing, however, we would recommend the traditional piercing of 1.2 -1.6mm.

Any piercing can be stretched, but it isn’t always beneficial to do so. In some cases it is recommended (to prevent it from growing out), whereas in other cases it will grow out precisely because it has been stretched.
That is why the stretching procedure should only be done by a professional, and the customer should rely on the professional’s advice and recommendations.

Occasionally one will stretch a piercing hole (or the piercing canal) that has almost completely closed. This will spare you a second and unnecessary piercing and the corresponding costs involved. It will also mean one less intervention and the risks associated with healing the wound.

Whatever the reason or specific nature of the stretching procedure, we will do what is in the best interests of our customer.

Piercing/Stretching & Co.
In spite of our professional skill and competence, we cannot carry out a procedure if the law forbids it or the anatomy of a given customer does not allow it. That is why every intervention is preceded by a discussion of what can and cannot be done. Together with the client, we must decide what is realistic, taking into account health and anatomical factors.

What do we mean by piercing & stretching?
