Horizontal clitoral hood piercing:
Together with the vertical clitoral hood piercing, this is probably the most popular genital piercing there is.

The HCH has been very much in vogue in recent years, and the reasons is plain: on the one hand it stimulates the clitoris, and on the other it looks gorgeous. However, the HCH is less stimulating than the VCH piercing.
The ring used in horizontal clitoral hood piercing is perfectly suited to the anatomy of the woman, and a rhinestone gives it that extra quality.
Since this piercing heals quickly and without problems, there is really nothing that speaks against getting it.
Men love it, and women derive great pleasure from it.
Stimulation:
The HCH piercing affords less sexual pleasure than the VCH piercing, but the woman will still enjoy a certain degree of stimulation.
This doesn’t mean that it is a constant source of stimulation (e.g. while riding the subway or sitting in the office), but that it can to be stimulated by the woman or her partner.
The degree of stimulation can be strengthened or weakened depending on the size of the ball and length of the bar.
Most women agree that this piercing does in fact provide a great deal of pleasure when it comes to sensual experiences and orgasms.
Jewelry:
When it comes to HCH piercings, there are a broad range of jewelry options. Generally we recommend a 1.6mm captive bead ring. Occasionally an HCH piercing is stretched to 2.0 or 2.5mm.
Initially a bigger ring is used, which is then replaced by a smaller one after about two weeks. The diameter used will depend on the anatomy and wishes of the client.
The size of the ball and the diameter are important. Initially we recommend a combination using a 4mm or 5mm ball. Subsequently, many women opt for a larger ball which increases stimulation.
The so-called Double or Triple (Pendulum) balls: one ball to which 2 or 3 other balls can be attached, one under the other, and often increasing in size. This is a great look and provides even more stimulation, similar to the rattlebells in a vertical clitoral hood piercing.
Few female customers wear a straight bar for a horizontal clitoral hood piercing, but it does occasionally happen.
Whatever your wish, we have the right jewelry for you.
Healing:
The clitoral hood piercing generally heals very quickly and there are rarely any complications. Approximately two weeks are needed for the initial healing stage.
Genital piercings can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.
Disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or chlorine should be avoided.
When it comes to having sexual intercourse following the piercing we do advise you against it, but usually people wait a couple of days before resuming normal sexual relations.
A secret tip is using your own urine as a healing agent, which can speed up the healing process enormously.
Variation:
Variations and combinations are possible. For example, many people turn their HCH piercing into a Magic Cross.
Other alternatives include the VCH or the Diana piercing.
Although the Triangle piercing is also done through the clitoral hood, but at the very bottom, it isn’t technically considered a clitoral hood piercing.
Together with the vertical clitoral hood piercing, this is probably the most popular genital piercing there is.
