Shaft-Ampallang

The Ampallang can also be pierced behind the glans and through the penis shaft, in which case it is called a Shaft Ampallang.

Just like the Ampallang, this variation runs from left to right through the shaft and through the urethra.

The Shaft Amapallang is much rarer than the regular Ampallang, but is very attractive, especially in circumcised men. When it is performed directly behind the glans, it is visually striking.

Origins:

The Ampallang and the Shaft Ampallang have a long history and originated in the Indian subcontinent. It was a sign of masculinity, and it’s said that without a Pallang the man cannot obtain pleasure. The Pallang should be stretched in order to effectively stimulate the woman.

The Pallang figures prominently in the Kamasutra as well.

Piercing procedure:

The Ampallang runs horizontally through the glans. It crosses the urethra or can pass right next to it. If it goes through the urethra it involves two shorter piercing canals which heal more quickly than one longer canal executed above the urethra.

However, the procedure through the urethra is not always predictable, and there is a risk of damaging a cavernous body in the process, though even this does not present a long-term problem.

Generally, this piercing can be done on both circumcised and uncircumcised men.

We recommend applying a local anesthetic to the urethra, in order to minimize the pain.

Stretching:

The Ampallang should be worn with a thickness of at least 2.0 to 4.0mm, to prevent any tearing.

Initially we pierce with a thickness of 1.6-2.0mm, which can then be stretched according to your preference.

Healing:

Because this piercing runs through the glans and through the urethra, it heals relatively quickly within 5-6 months.

Genital piercings can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.

In the first few days following the procedure, we recommend that you abstain from sexual intercourse, and wear a condom when resuming normal sexual activities.

Using urine helps the wound heal considerably more quickly, therefore we recommend that you urinate frequently.

Stimulation:

The Ampallang is a sexually stimulating piercing for both the man and the woman. The balls of the Ampallang rub against the inner wall of the vagina and therefore provide a new sensation for the woman. The man, in contrast, will feel a rubbing sensation along the entire penis and glans.

And just as in the PA, the urethra will also be stimulated.
