The Chastity Piercing
There is no chastity piercing per se, but with the aid of certain piercing techniques and types of jewelry, the genital area can be “enclosed”.
To create something resembling a chastity belt, we can use different piercings and or tunnels to “seal” the area.
Many customers will use their existing piercings and simply insert a “lock” through them, while others will get a piercing specifically for this purpose.
Another recent option are the locks specially designed for the genitals, where instead of being inserted through the existing piercing holes, they are inserted directly through the skin.
This makes it impossible to remove the lock indirectly.
Needless to say, these locks are not obtained from the hardware store, but are tailor-made and have neither sharp corners nor edges, making them comfortable to wear.
Jewelry:
As jewelry we can either use titanium rings or tunnels of a suitable size. In the latter case the skin has to be stretched beforehand. The locks are made of a specially coated material and can also be engraved.
Healing:
The time required for healing will depend on the specific types of piercings which make up the Chastity Piercing. You can consult the piercings listed above to find out the healing phases of each.
The piercings constituting the Chastity Piercing need to be given time to heal individually before the piercing as a whole can be worn long-term.
Genital piercings can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.
Disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or chlorine should be avoided.
Stimulation:
An actual “chastity belt” is uncomfortable, unhygienic, and expensive. The idea stems from the SM (sadomasochism) scene, but is currently practiced by more and more couples.
Stretched genital piercings:
An increasing number of customers choose to stretch their genital piercings. This is not much different from stretching the earlobes or other parts of the body, but the genital area requires great care and the procedure should be discussed with the piercer beforehand.
Purpose:
You must first decide if you’re stretching a genital piercing because you want to accommodate thicker jewelry, or because you wish to hang weights or locks from it. Here again, our guiding principle is that anything goes as long as it pleases the customer and is not reckless. Some pornstars have XXXL rings in their outer labia, but this doesn’t mean that every woman can stretch her labia to that extent.
Your best option, therefore, is to consult your piercer and stretch the area that is best suited to it.
On the other hand, there are genital piercings for women which MUST be stretched so that they don’t grow out. This includes the following piercings:
Princess Albertina, Fourchette Piercing, Guiche Piercing for women, and all piercings which involve weighted jewelry or locks.
If your piercer recommends that you stretch a piercing, you should do so, otherwise there is a risk of it growing out. In the case of Fourchette and Princess Albertina piercings, a thicker ring is aesthetically and functionally preferable, because a thin one can cause pain to either party during sexual intercourse. That is why we recommend a stretch of between 2.5mm and 3.0mm. But this will depend on the wishes of the customer: some women opt for a Fourchette of 4.0mm.
Jewelry:
We use jewelry that is usually applied to ear piercings, such as tunnels and plugs, but we use them on the labia and clitoral hood instead. Alternatives include rings, barbells, or banana bars, always with the appropriate thickness.
Since nowadays you can find jewelry in all shapes and sizes, practially any requirement can be met, including customized jewelry.
Size:
The size will depend on the area and the customer’s preference—for the inner labia between 2-6mm, and in the case of a Fourchette Piercing between 2.5-4.0mm. When it comes to the other piercings, it will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Healing and Execution:
Before it is stretched, a piercing must be completely healed. Generally you should add 6 weeks to the normal healing phase before stretching, unless you are advised differently by your piercer.
After the stretching procedure, you should apply ProntoLind Spray and ProntoLind Gel to the affected area for 7 – 14 days.
For the genital area we recommend that you discuss your options with the piercing studio before stretching because not every area is suited to it and the parameters have to be carefully considered in order to prevent tearing of the skin.
The stretching should also be done by a professional; what looks like a simple procedure when done to the ears is not so simple when it concerns the genital area. And if the area is not carefully prepared using the right tools and professional know-how, it can become a dangerous operation.
In short, you’re better off consulting a professional.
