The clitoris piercing

Not every clitoris is suitable for a piercing, so a lot will depend on the individual’s anatomy.

The woman’s clitoris should be relatively large and visible, with a diameter of 3 to 5 mm. In addition, the clitoral hood should not protrude too far over the clitoris because it must not hinder the piercing by covering the clitoris or exerting too much pressure on it. If the clitoral hood happens to cover the clitoris excessively, a reduction of the clitoral hood may be required before the piercing can be performed.

A frequent solution is to perform the piercing vertically, from top to bottom, in order not to interfere with the hood or the woman’s general anatomy. Another option is performing a vertical clitoral hood piercing, where the ball is placed on the clitoral hood, after which the bar runs through the clitoris and ends below it.

Due to the many nerve endings in this area this procedure is painful.

Placement:

Generally the clitoris is pierced vertically, but it can also be done horizontally, depending on the customer’s anatomy.

If the clitoris is excessively covered by the hood, then a vertical piercing canal is a better and more comfortable option. Then, depending on the size and shape of the individual clitoris, a suitable piece of jewelry will be selected.

Healing:

The clitoris piercing generally heals very quickly and there are rarely any complications. Approximately five weeks are needed for the initial healing stage.

Genital piercings can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.

Disinfectant solutions containing alcohol or chlorine should be avoided.

When it comes to having sexual intercourse following the piercing we do not advise you against it, but usually people wait a couple of days before resuming normal sexual relations.

A secret tip is using your own urine as a healing agent, which can speed up the healing process enormously.

On rare occasions there can be more extensive bleeding in the first few days.

Advantage:

If the piercing is anatomically feasible, it will provide the woman with heightened sexual stimulation, indeed more than any other form of genital piercing.
