Deep Dydoe-Piercing
The Deep Dydoes is a male genital piercing, also known as a Zephyr Piercing.
It has the same entry canal at the ridge of the glans at the end of the foreskin, but the exit point is lower on the glans at the tip of the penis.
Generally the Deep Dydoe is worn from the ridge of the glans all the way to the tip of the penis, and is pierced accordingly.
Like the Apadydoe, the Deep Dydoe is often worn as a pair, on the left and right side.
Origins:
As indicated, the Dydoe piercing is predominantly performed in circumcised men. According to the US piercing pioneer Doug Malloy, the Dydoe was invented by a group of Jewish students from the Cyprian Society. The intention was to render the glans more sensitive in men who were circumcised (Jews are circumcised as a rule). Over time, the Deep Dydoe developed out of the Dydoe, but its precise origins are unclear.
Healing:
This piercing will take about 4-6 months to heal. If the man has a tight foreskin, it can lead to complications. During the healing period, we recommend that you clean the area regularly.
Genital piercings can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to heal completely, rarely longer. Like other external piercings, in the first three weeks it should be cleaned with ProntoLind spray twice a day, and then coated with ProntoLind gel. It is important to wash your hands before touching the pierced area and the jewelry itself. By caring for the piercing in the correct manner and with the proper materials, you will rarely have to deal with cases of proud flesh.
In the first few days following the procedure, we recommend that you abstain from sexual intercourse, or at least wear a condom if doing so.
The piercing can be performed on an uncircumcised man, provided the foreskin is a little looser. For an uncircumcised man the piercing can occasionally cause discomfort.
We recommend this piercing exclusively for circumcised men, because there is less risk of complications during the healing period. In short, this piercing is clearly suited to circumcised men.
Risks:
The piercing can be occasionally uncomfortable for an uncircumcised man, and if the foreskin is particularly tight, it can cause an infection. A circumcised man will not experience these problems.
Stimulation:
The Dydoe provides stimulation to the wearer and his partner.
The man will feel a heightened sense of pleasure in the glans area as well as the tip of the penis, and it can even make the glans itself more sensitive. The woman will also benefit, because the balls placed on the right and left side will provide friction and a gentle massage to the vaginal wall. The Deep Dydoe can also stimulate the woman’s G-Spot.
Jewelry:
For the Deep Dydoe we recommend a titanium barbell or a PTFE barbell. The length and ball size will depend on the size of the penis.
Variation:
The Dydoe Piercing, which runs all the way to the tip of the penis
